    Hi Dreaming

No, even though I did work in the UK  for 25 years as did my husband BUT we also worked privately from home so no hope of workers comp.

My two rescue dogs keep me going too, never separated,  my neighbour comes with me daily now when I walk my dogs, oxygen machine broke down in the heat earlier on this summer, terrifying, and when I can no longer carry on walking, she continues with the dogs so they get proper exercise whilst I wait on the track for them to come back.

I would love to rescue more dogs, had 8 when this disease first reared it ugly head 18 months ago, only the two I have now were fairly young, the others have passed in fairly quick succession. Until recently I was fostering and rehabilitating cruelly treated dogs one at a time, last one was adopted in June, he came from a puppy farm where the owner had left 40 dogs to die from lack of water and food, horrific, he so emaciated it was horrible to touch him.  I am now not capable. I know I haven't got that long left, can't leave a house full of dogs to be farmed out to just any one, or worse still back in refuges.
